how Lamp works, written from what is actually running. every coin, trade and fee here can be checked on Solana.

what this is

Lamp is a launchpad for pump.fun coins on Solana. every coin launched here comes with its maker's reason: a short line, the signal, shown on the coin's page and in the signals feed.

  • coins are created on pump.fun and trade there: first on its bonding curve, then on PumpSwap once they graduate.
  • every payment and every trade is signed by your wallet. Lamp holds no funds and no keys.
  • the lists, charts and holders come from Lamp's own index of the chain.

sign in & wallet

tap sign in and pick your Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack or any wallet in your browser). the wallet signs a short message. it moves nothing and costs nothing. on a phone without a wallet, the sign in box offers to open Lamp inside Phantom or Solflare.

you can browse, star coins and read everything without signing in. you need it to launch and to trade.

launch a coin

open launch and fill three steps:

  • name it: a picture (jpeg, png or gif, up to 5 MB), a name and a ticker, and your links if you have them.
  • say why: your first words, up to 280 characters. required. a description is optional.
  • first buy: optional, up to 100 SOL. your wallet buys right after the coin is live.

then press launch. your wallet signs one payment of 0.1 SOL to Lamp's launch wallet. Lamp checks it on chain, then its launch wallet creates the coin on pump.fun through PumpPortal (pump.fun's create cost, about 0.02 SOL, comes out of the fee). the page follows it until the coin is live and opens its page.

while launching is closed the button says so and nothing can be signed or paid.

the signal

the first words are kept exactly as written when the coin was made. they sit on the coin's page under signal and in the signals feed on the home page, next to the wallet that launched it and the market cap since then.

the % on a signal is the market cap now against the market cap at the coin's first trade.

the curve & graduation

a new pump.fun coin trades on pump.fun's bonding curve: the price rises as people buy. each coin page shows how far along the curve it is. at 100% the coin graduates and moves to a PumpSwap pool, where it keeps trading.

when a launch fails

  • you declined the payment, or it never landed: nothing was charged. try again.
  • the payment landed but the coin could not be created: the launch is marked for a refund, and the payment goes back by hand to the wallet that paid it.
  • the page stopped waiting: the payment is kept with its coin. press the button again to check; you are never asked to pay twice for the same coin.

buying & selling

every coin page has a ticket. buy spends SOL, sell spends the coin (25%, 50%, 75% or all of what you hold). Lamp builds the transaction through PumpPortal and your wallet signs and sends it. the default slippage is 10%; set it on the ticket.

"you get" is an estimate from the current price on the curve, before fees.

fees & gas

where the fees go

Lamp's launch wallet creates every coin, so on chain it is each coin's creator. pump.fun pays a coin's creator rewards from its trades to the creator: for Lamp coins they go to Lamp's launch wallet. together with launch fees they are Lamp's revenue. launchers do not receive creator rewards.

the revenue page

revenue shows Lamp's own records: volume on Lamp coins, creator rewards the launch wallet claimed, paid launches and their fees, and coins born, by day.

the pages

  • discover: the coins by market cap, trending, new, last trade or oldest, and the signals feed.
  • launches: every new pump.fun coin as it lands, and every coin born on Lamp.
  • watchlist: the coins you starred, kept in your browser.
  • a coin page: chart, trades, holders, the signal and the ticket.

data & api

the data behind the pages is public JSON, read only:

custody & privacy

  • Lamp never holds funds or keys. your wallet signs every payment and trade, and Lamp checks each transaction it builds before your wallet sees it.
  • Lamp keeps your wallet address when you sign in or launch, and a session cookie while you are signed in. your watchlist and display choices stay in your browser.
  • read the privacy page and the terms.

faq

is a coin on Lamp safe to buy?

Lamp does not check or endorse coins. anyone can launch one, and most pump.fun coins lose their value. only use money you can afford to lose.

can I change my coin after launch?

no. the name, ticker, picture and signal are fixed when the coin is made.

do I get the creator rewards?

no. they go to Lamp's launch wallet, which created the coin.
